Delta Rocket Blows Up Just After Liftoff
The Delta rockets are one of the world’s most reliable expendable launch vehicles. Delta has been a mainstay of the U.S. rocket stable since its introduction in 1960. This short documentary shows a problem with a Delta rocket launching a GPS satellite that led to explosion of the rocket shortly after it was launched.
