Mercedes Benz - The Race
Competition comes before a fall. Or is that pride? Either way, this spot plays brilliantly with the idea of one-upmanship to show what happens when boys let their egos get the better of them.
Starring Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso and Mika Hakkinnen.

Vodafone NZ - Make The Most Of Now
“The times they are a changin’” sang Bob Dylan, though given the wave of change brought about by the internet you can’t blame him for failing to predict virtual pets and user generate content. This latest spot for Vodafone, directed by Adam Stevens of Robber’s Dog, flows like a 20th Century update of Dylan’s paean to impermanence.

Pepsi Max - CanFu
As two young men battle it out kung fu style for a can of sugar-free soda, they appear to be splitting in two and generally defying rules of time and space. You gradually find that concealed people wearing black body stockings are cleverly making the magic happen. Finally, one even reveals herself and pinches a sip. Pepsi Max: Maximum taste, no sugar.

Motorola - ROKR
The spot opens with a rooftop shot set against a brooding skyline before moving to the interior of an apartment where we see a young guy wrapped in a restricting mass of black cables. His outstretched hand fights against the cables to grasp at the new ROKR phone. As his fingers reach the phone, the cables fly away one by one, vanishing through cracks in the wall and gaps in the floorboards, leaving the guy free to enjoy the wireless music experience offered by Motorola’s latest mobile.
