Alfa Romeo is coming back to the U.S. and this is the car that will reintroduce the brand to American drivers. First shown as a concept at the 2003 Frankfurt Auto Show, the 2009 Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione Coupe is headed for production with very few changes.

                                      

The Über-Maserati weighs nearly 400 kg (880 lbs) less than the base MC12 (1,150 instead of 1,531 kg [2530 lbs instead of 3368 lbs]). This corresponds to a power-to-weight ratio of 1.5 kg / hp (3.36 lb / hp).
